Math 312 Partial Differential Equations for Engineering

This semester I am teaching Math 312: Partial Differential Equations for Engineering. Material covered will include: Solution methods for partial differential equations; science and engineering applications; heat and wave equations, Laplace's equation; separation of variables; Fourier series and transforms; special functions. Math 375 Introduction to Numerical Computing

Schedule: Section 03: TTh 9:30 - 10:45am

This semester I am teaching Math 375: Introduction to Numerical Computing (also listed as CS 375). This is an introductory course covering such topics as solution of linear and nonlinear equations; interpolation and approximation of functions, including splines; techniques for approximate differentiation and integration; solution of differential equations; familiarization with existing software.
